An Award!

We were awarded the "I Love Your Blog" Award!

1. Thank the person who awarded you.
Thanks agcat! :)

2. Tell us why the idea of blogging popped into your heads and why you still write it.
AGMarket: Well, my mom was searching the web one night and found MyAmericanGirl, I was so inspired I started one! I still write in my blog, because it is relaxing to me, and it is fun (to make new friends, share news, and support Etsy sellers!)
Jessica: When my friend AGMarket started her blog and it became so successful, I got inspired to start my own and look where I am now! :)
Hannah: My 6th grade English teacher had a blog, and I decided to make one because it looked so fun!
Emma: My sister Hannah found out about about Blogging, so one day a while later we decided to make an American Girl blog!  I continue Blogging because I get to make new friends, improve on writing and photography, and read other girls' blogs!  I also have seen pictures of dolls early, which I couldn't have seen without Blogging.  Blogging is also how I met some of my best friends and I met them in person!
Rose: I was on the website, American Girl Fan one day, and had a sudden urge to make my own blog. I did and it is probably one of the best things that has ever happened to me.
Priya: I came across American Girl Fan once while doing some random google searching, and I was introduced into the world of AG blogging. As soon as I saw My American Girl, I knew I wanted to have a site of my own. I first made a website on Weebly and half a year later made my own domain.

3. Describe a usual day of your life.
Jessica: During the summer, I usually wake up around 9:00, then I eat breakfast, post on my blog, and then throughout the day I'll read, go outside, bother my sisters, and email. ;)
Rose: In the summer I usually sleep in till around 9 or 10. I swim, blog, dress up my dolls, take pictures, read, and do anything the hot summer day will permit me to. ;)
Priya: I wake up around 7-9, eat breakfast, and relax. The relaxing includes blogging, making videos, checking email, etc.
Emma: I wake up around 8:30-9:00, get on the computer, eat breakfast, and start my day.  During the day I like to play with my dolls, make things, Blog, play with my friend, text and call my friends and Blogging friends. :)  During the school year, things are different though. :P
Hannah: I wake up, eat, read a bit, and other stuff.
AGMarket: I wake up at 8:30 (yeah I like my sleep! :0) , then I read and eat breakfast (normally fruit and bread and cheese), then we do school, then in the afternoon I blog and do piano, and then I help make dinner, and do the chores!

4. The best collaboration with a blogger.
Priya: This collaboration! :)
AGMarket: My blogger buddies!
Jessica: What they said! :)
Emma: This collaboration along with lots and lots of others (and I mean LOTS of others)!  Especially my email and pen pals.
Rose: Agree. This collaboration is one of the bests I've had. ;)
HannahLila on Amazing Animals! She is my best friend.

5. The worst collaboration with a blogger.
Priya: N/A
AGMarket: There is no asnwer to this question! ;)
Jessica: No one!
Hannah: None.
Rose: No answer to this one.
Emma: Hmm...no one!

6. Explain what blogging means to you.
AGMarket: It is wonderful to be able to write about yourself and have fun writing! Not to mention- I have made SO many good friends blogging! I love taking pictures, and blogging helps me with my photography skills!
HannahIt is a way to share what has been going on in my life. It is very fun!!
Emma: I make lots of new friends and improve on photography and writing!
Priya: I get to meet people who have the same interests as me, and I get to improve my writing and photography skills.

Sorry for not posting//Books

Hi guys!
Sorry I didn't post last week! :P
I was super busy that day.

Anyway...last weeks theme was Books but,
since I didn't get to post last week, I'll post about my fave books today. :D

The Hunger Games Trilogy.
I am a HUGE fan of these books.
(that's an understatement;)

Katniss is a 16-year-old girl living with her mother and younger sister in the poorest district of Panem, the remains of what used be the United States. Long ago the districts waged war on the Capitol and were defeated. As part of the surrender terms, each district agreed to send one boy and one girl to appear in an annual televised event called, "The Hunger Games." The terrain, rules, and level of audience participation may change but one thing is constant: kill or be killed. When Katniss' sister is reaped, Katniss steps up to go in her place.

This was one of my favorite books a few years back.
It's an adorable story!

Jenny hates pretending to be a mouse, but that's exactly what she has to do for her school project.  Every fourth grader is writing letters to a second grader--in mouse character.  Most of her classmates think it's fun, but Jenny can't think of much to say.  When she fails to get an answer from her second grader, Sameera, Jenny is embarrassed and angry.
Soon Jenny discovers the reason behind Sameera's silence: she doesn't speak English.  At first Jenny is mad that her project is a flop.  But later she sees how hard it is for Sameera in her new country.  Will Jenny decide to use her project to help the new girl fit in?  Or will she trade her in for another second grader?

This was one of my all time favorite books when I was younger. :D
One of the first pages states, "Take it SLOWLY this book is DANGEROUS!"
When me and my older sister read this,
we would try to read it as fast as we could without messing up. That was hard. ;)
Just read below and you'll see why...

See what I mean?? ;)
I DARE you to read that out loud, FAST.
If you did, comment 'Fox'! ;)

Well, that was just a few samples of what I like to read. :)

Thanks for reading today, and remember...

“When beetles fight these battles in a bottle with their paddles
and the bottle's on a poodle and the poodle's eating noodles...
...they call this a muddle puddle tweetle poodle beetle noodle
bottle paddle battle.”
