This basically explains my summer days...
I would get up and write the lyrics to a song I loved and wanted to know.
I would make up a whole stack of them and turn my iPod on.
I would go outside and sit on the grass with Kinley, and just sing.
And listen to the words.
And notice the falling leaves (thus the leaf in the picture).
And look around my neighborhood.
And pet Kinley.
And eventually run out of pages so I'd move on to songs I already knew.
And play through my whole list until I couldn't sing anymore or Kinley wandered off and I'd have to call him but he wouldn't hear me so I'd have to follow him and grab him before he goes into the neighbor's yard (true story).
Sigh.
But now it's October.
School has been going on for a month or so, all the birthdays have past, and now the holidays begin.
First Halloween.
Then Thanksgiving.
Then Christmas.
I can't wait! In choir, we just started bringing out the Christmas music that we are going to sing soon and it made me so happy. :)
So, yeah. That's what's up with me. How are you?
But on a Wednesday in a cafe, I watched it begin again. ~ Taylor Swift
P.S. Something that makes me sad is that we only posted seven times last month! :( I'm so sorry!
