A little bit of randomness...

I'm an introvert :D

Yeah for dads! :)

That's me! :)

Yes, please!

Yup! :D

*slowly raises hand*

Ikr? :D

This is so true!

That would be me...

Yup :D

Ugh, this annoys me so much!

Haha, yeah.

Wow! :D

These could come in handy...

So relatable.

The Art of Taking Selfies

I don't know about you, but I love taking selfies. :) Whenever I grab my - I mean, my mom's - camera and walk outside looking for things that would make good photos, I always end up with a couple of selfies in the pile too. Can you relate?

Here are a couple of my attempts at selfies. :)

The common "half-of-your-face" look.

Interesting...

Looking down, playing hair...

Listening to music...

And smiling.

And I'll just throw in a couple of Kinley pics too :)

"Sit!"

"Stay!"

"Smile for the camera!"

Ooo, I really like how these turned out!

What's one more? :)

writing

via pinterest

i love to write.
it gives me confidence.
it makes me happy.
it makes me feel like i have a purpose.
although, sometimes i feel like i can't write.
like my stories aren't good enough.
but that's not the point of writing.
it's not meant to be a competition.
and it should never be forced.

Aria Part 1

Aria was concerned. The forest was silent. Nothing stirred in the undergrowth and no animal showed itself. There was no wind to carry the autumn leaves to the ground. There was nothing. This was not good.
She walked as quickly and discretely as possible, looking over her shoulder every few minutes to make sure she was not being followed. If they found out where she was going... she didn't want to think of the consequences. The forest was in danger, and help was needed.
Her hunter green cloak rushed out behind her as she quickened her pace. She had to to be back before nightfall and the sun was sinking lower and lower into the sky, casting a golden glow through the whole forest. The intensity of it almost blinded her, and she stumbled about for a few minutes before coming upon a cottage set up against a cave. She sighed with relief. She had made it to her destination.
The cottage was very small and dilapidated; it was falling apart and in dire need of repair. She wondered how old the place could be, as was the person said to be living inside.
There was only one way to find out. Please have him help us, she silently prayed and then knocked on the door.

it's a mystery <3 my favorite

Fall Inspired Drinks

Fall inspired drinks. Hot drinks, uniquely flavored drinks, or just a drink.

{Either way, I gotta have it}

I just sit.
And read.
Over and over again.

{while drinking some sort of drink}

Coffee tastes better with Brondell filtered water! Time to check out the Brondell Water Filtration Systems here: http://brondell.com/water-filtration-comparison/

That unique cup, with the adorable colors. That little slice of something special. That warm, hot, filling drink.

My favorite tea is simple. {Simplicity is yummy.}

Boil water.
Get a cup {I prefer tea cups}
Pick mint from your mint garden.
Wash it. ^
Then put it in the water.

Being Me

This basically explains my summer days...

I would get up and write the lyrics to a song I loved and wanted to know.
I would make up a whole stack of them and turn my iPod on.
I would go outside and sit on the grass with Kinley, and just sing.
And listen to the words.
And notice the falling leaves (thus the leaf in the picture).
And look around my neighborhood.
And pet Kinley.
And eventually run out of pages so I'd move on to songs I already knew.
And play through my whole list until I couldn't sing anymore or Kinley wandered off and I'd have to call him but he wouldn't hear me so I'd have to follow him and grab him before he goes into the neighbor's yard (true story).
Sigh.
But now it's October.
School has been going on for a month or so, all the birthdays have past, and now the holidays begin.
First Halloween.
Then Thanksgiving.
Then Christmas.
I can't wait! In choir, we just started bringing out the Christmas music that we are going to sing soon and it made me so happy. :)
So, yeah. That's what's up with me. How are you?

But on a Wednesday in a cafe, I watched it begin again. ~ Taylor Swift

P.S. Something that makes me sad is that we only posted seven times last month! :( I'm so sorry!
